Plover Area Business Association
The Plover Area Business Association was established in 1979 to give Plover businesses a stronger voice in the Steves Point Chamber of Commerce. Today PABA continues to be the voice of the business community. Thur purpose of the association is to foster and advance business and community interests throughout the Greater Plover Area.
PABA works with the Village of Plover to develop a stronger community, retain existing businesses, and draw new businesses to the area. PABA has an alliance with the Portage County Business Council, the Stevens Point Area CVB, and Portage County Planning & Zoning. PABA events and activities provide social opportunities with the membership. These events are great networking tools to help businesses develop new prospects for its business.
PABA prides itself in giving back to the community and members in several ways including recognition and scholarship programs and grants to not-for-profit organizations to help extend their programming. Christmas Presents from the Heart is one of our largest campaigns with net proceeds and items donated to Operation Bootstrap to help families and individuals needing help in the area.
Membership in PABA is open to any individual, organization, or firm which has business commercial interests in the Greater Plover Area.
